Bridesmaid Dresses to Adore

filed under  |

Having your team of go-to-gals right by your side on your wedding day is part of all the fun! Picking out dresses for them and trying to keep them all happy? Sometimes that part can be a bit overwhelming when there’s a lot of pressure coming from all angles. Here are a few of our favorite designers and styles that we wanted to share with you!

Jenny Yoo

Jenny Yoo is one of our favorite designers for bridesmaids dresses, hands down. Her designs are simple yet contemporary. Her site features an array of styles in different colors and fabrics, which makes it easy (and fun) to browse! Prices range from $150-$300 depending on the style of dress. Currently her site features dresses that are elegant and classy yes modern, just the way we like it! You can check out her site and take a look for yourself!

Dessy

Dessy is another favorite of ours. They have a large variety of styles, you could spend hours (no, really…. hours. Can you tell we love fashion?) looking at them all. They offer both long and short dresses as well as jumpsuits, which, who doesn’t love a good jumpsuit?! They have so many colors to offer and you are able to order up to five free color swatches if you need an up close look. If you want options, this is a great site for you!

Favorite styles tips:

Texture

Texture can be really eye catching and can totally change the look of your whole bridal party. For example, for a fall or winter wedding, a thicker, heavier material can convey the look of warmth which may be fitting as opposed to a super light fabric. We love to see some new textures beyond classic chiffon in the world of bridesmaids dresses. Some of our favorites currently are velvet, embroidery and beading! Texture can add an interesting element if you are looking to have your bridesmaids in a variety of dresses – a style choice that is very popular currently. Say you have bridesmaids in different colors of cool toned blues, pulling in some different textures along with the different colors can add some more depth to the look, which looks great when you get photographs back!

Show Stopper

The show stopper isn’t for everyone or every wedding, but we’ve seen a lot of bridesmaids dresses so seeing something different can be really fun! Currently, jumpsuits in place of bridesmaids dresses are a huge show stopper and great for the very modern bride. Some other styles that have the wow factor are floral printed gowns, and midi dresses. Both a little unexpected but nonetheless super fun!

Classic

Finally, when looking for the perfect gown for your bridesmaids we always love a really classic piece. Classic is elegant and nothing tops elegant when planning for your once-in-a-lifetime day. A solid color A-line gown can still steal the show in this day and age. If you have a very classic style, don’t be ashamed of it, you don’t need to follow all the trends!
